Actually, the EU is more likely to be a capitalist plot than a communist one. If you think about it, if Europe erased European borders and Europeans started speaking a common language and started eating at chain restaurants that acquired their food from giant agribusinesses and started watching soccer like we watch football and started living in suburbs and started to form themselves into an economic powerhouse like the US, then what would be the difference between them and us? And that is the goal of the EU: To turn Europe into a second United States. The only real difference will be that we are located on North America, whereas they will be located on Europe. I’ve actually interviewed capitalist Europeans on this very topic, and, while they acknowledge that their indigenous, traditional cultures will be destroyed by the EU (much as the South and Northern ethnic Catholic neighborhoods were destroyed by the US), they are contented by the fact that they will be able to eat fast food and buy iPods for 200 bucks. Sorry, that’s the price of unfettered capitalism.

I don't get the need for insults. I realize that maybe you thought that was a dig at you, and I am sorry if it offended you. I just got frustrated with people thinking I was acting like a televangelist and made a joke out of it. Nevertheless, yours was not a very nice comment.

I will refrain from calling the European Union a communist plot, because I apparently don’t know enough to use the word communist in a sentence. In my mind, if a body of elitist politicians get together and write a treaty that resolves to bind half a billion people into ”a citizenship common to nationals of their countries” forcing ”Every person holding the nationality of a Member State” to become ”a citizen of the Union,” that body might as well be a communist motherland.

You are correct, you don't seem to have any idea what communism is, other than something you don't like.
